Where is Capitol Optometry located?
We have two convenient Sacramento locations. Our Downtown office is at 1009 12th St., Sacramento, CA 95814, and our Curtis Park office is at 2742 24th St., Sacramento, CA 95818, inside the Amalia building right next to Qisa Coffee.
Is there parking available at Capitol Optometry?
Yes. At our Downtown location, we validate parking for 1.5 hours at all city lots, with the City Hall Garage and Capitol Garage nearby. At our Curtis Park location there is free street parking available.
Which location should I visit?
Both offices offer comprehensive eye care with the same hours of operation, so you’re welcome to choose whichever is most convenient. You can book online or call Downtown at 916-442-4927 or Curtis Park at 916-299-0246.

Do I need an appointment, or do you accept walk-ins?

What are your hours of operation?
Both locations are open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday by appointment only, and closed Saturday and Sunday.
How far in advance should I book an eye exam?
We recommend scheduling your eye exam 1–2 weeks in advance, especially during busier seasons. We can often accommodate sooner appointments as well. Contact us to find a time that works for you.
Do you offer emergency eye care appointments?
Yes. If you’re experiencing an eye emergency, please contact us as soon as possible so we can provide guidance and arrange prompt care. Same-day appointments may be available depending on scheduling.

Do you accept vision insurance?
Yes. We work with many major vision and medical insurance plans. Since coverage and eligibility vary between plans, we recommend checking with your insurance provider before your appointment to confirm your benefits and any applicable limitations.
